Welcome to Grayhawk
A private and stylishly unique enclave in a standout, stunning location
Unique among the communities in northern Scottsdale, thanks to its diverse housing options and small-town feel, Grayhawk cultivates a genuine neighborhood aesthetic. Ideally situated at the northeastern corner of Loop 101, the community serves as a link between the dynamic urban-suburban Scottsdale and the majestic wide-open spaces that lie further north.
Developed over 1,600 acres and showcasing nearly 4,000 residences, Grayhawk features a wide selection of homes and neighborhoods. The area includes two unique community associations—The Park (non-golf course communities) and The Retreat Village (centered around the two courses). Each boasts its own distinctive lifestyle and amenities.
For those with lower maintenance living in mind, Grayhawk is home to a number of condominium and townhome options across eight different enclaves.

People & Lifestyle
To consider Grayhawk the perfect landing spot for families, both growing and established, is an understatement. More so than most other communities in northern Scottsdale, Grayhawk's collection of individual, yet wholly connected, neighborhoods promote community and fellowship among residents.
Its greatest attribute, though, is in its bucolic lifestyle—modern conveniences, outstanding neighborhoods, and unparalleled country club living—in a relaxed and low-key luxury environment.
Dining, Shopping & Entertainment
For spectacular upscale living that is less remote than some of Scottsdale's northernmost neighborhoods, Grayhawk offers the perfect accommodations. Akin to a small village, the community boasts several commercial districts with excellent dining options.
Grayhawk Plaza features Poke Spot, serving Hawaiian fare, and Parma Italian Roots for home-cooked Italian. In the heart of Grayhawk, at Hayden Peak Crossing, you'll discover Juan Jamie's for modern Mexican dishes, Kale & Clover serving farm-to-table, and Local Bistro and its French-European vibe. The area's best restaurant is Isabella's Kitchen, located at the Grayhawk Golf Club.
Just a short 15-minute drive down North Scottsdale Road and you're in Kierland, a bustling commercial district with numerous upscale dining options and luxury shopping featuring well-known brands and local boutiques.
Things to Do
When exploring what to do in and around Grayhawk, the journey starts with Grayhawk Golf Club. The club has two 18-hole championship courses, the Talon and the Raptor, the latter of which is a Tom Fazio design. Four restaurants are featured at the clubhouse, including the Southwestern-infused Quill Grill, breakfast favorite The Morning Joint, and the aforementioned Isabella's. The club's bar and grill, Phil's Grill, honors Arizona State alum Phil Mickelson with memorabilia from his college and PGA Tour careers.
Grayhawk is more than just golf, evidenced by a simple stroll down any one of the community's idyllic neighborhoods. Two major parks anchor the green spaces—29-acre Thompson Peak Park and 13-acre Grayhawk Park. Both include playgrounds, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, and pickleball courts, and baseball, softball, and soccer fields.
The community has over 30 miles of hiking trails and a well defined (and traveled) bike path system. Most unique of all, and reinforcing its reputation as a family-first enclave, there are six public tot lots, all of which feature play equipment for Grayhawk's youngest residents.
